The main building of the Inn dates back to the 1860s when it housed the Gananoque Carriage Works. Surrounded by flowers in summer, the Main Inn has 29 unique rooms, some with river views and others with balconies from which to enjoy the sunset. Accommodations include some double rooms, Fireplace Room and the beautiful Honeymoon Suite. The Watermark Restaurant and Muskie Jake’s Tap and Grill are conveniently located on the ground floor.
Located on the top floor of the Main Inn, the Honeymoon Suite has an inviting, canopied bed complemented by a fireplace and two easy chairs. A luxuriously appointed bathroom provides a deep Jacuzzi for two. The balcony, with its sweeping view of the islands, is the perfect place to share a room service breakfast or a glass of wine and a romantic sunset.
Fourteen rooms at the Inn have cozy fireplaces to provide a wonderful ambiance whenever there is a chill in the air.
Two ground level units house 14 lovely rooms that open directly out onto the lush lawns, gardens and 500-feet of private dock. White Adirondack chairs invite guests to sit and enjoy the panoramic view or watch the lively activities at the nearby town dock. Spacious rooms have two queen beds or a king bed. Some provide the luxury of a fireplace or Jacuzzi.
Our double Jacuzzi rooms are the perfect place to relax alone or together, whether celebrating or simply unwinding.
Many of the 10 annex rooms have a riverview balcony that overlooks the tranquil Pond Garden with its profusion of flowers and darting goldfish. Two luxurious suites, including the sumptuous Prime Minister’s Suite, await guests who wish to be pampered with a Jacuzzi and fireplace.
Named to honour our visiting Prime Minister, this very large suite features a king-sized bed facing a warm stone fireplace. California shutters on each window filter the bright sunlight. The spacious bathroom is equipped with a double Jacuzzi tub for soaking plus a separate shower, heated floor, double sinks and a dressing table. Amenities include a wet bar and fridge. Just outside the door is the tranquil Pond Garden and glorious river views.
This spacious and secluded suite is located at the end of the Pond Garden. Dominated by a massive stone fireplace, the room features a double Jacuzzi tub perfectly situated for viewing the fire or watching television while soaking.
Some of the Annex rooms provide a Jacuzzi and most open onto the pond garden and a tranquil sitting area.
This charming, gingerbread-trimmed Victorian home is located beside the main Inn. Both the lower and upper suites have private decks with panoramic views of the 1000 Islands. The lower suite features a king bedroom with a fireplace, a luxurious bath with Jacuzzi tub, a sitting room with sofa bed, a second bedroom with a half bath and even a dining room with a boardroom table for twelve. The second floor suite provides a king bedroom with fireplace and water view from absolutely every window! The sitting room on this level opens to a spacious deck. Two additional bedrooms may be opened on this floor. Cedar Knoll is also an ideal location for very special meetings which the inn will cater.
The upper suite at Cedar Knoll lets guests truly appreciate the charms of this Victorian home. The large master bedroom has beautiful 1000 Island views that can be enjoyed even while relaxing on the bed, as well as a gas fireplace. The den of this appealing suite contains a pullout couch and opens onto a spacious private deck from which to view the islands and the spectacular summer sky. There are two other bedrooms on this level, each with a queen bed which can be opened to share with family or extra guests.
The lower suite at Cedar Knoll provides an exclusive private apartment for romantic escapes with a king-sized bed, fireplace and spacious bathroom with Jacuzzi. It also has a large sitting room and dining area that can accommodate conferences of up to 10 people. A second bedroom has its own half bath and queen bed while the den comes equipped with pullout couch and a private deck that overlooks the St. Lawrence River. We are happy to cater to any special events on this site.
Built in the 1890s, this charming little house is freshly renovated and contains two fireplace and Jacuzzi suites. Named after its long time owners, the cottage is located at the edge of the inn property and is part of the charming small town streetscape.
